Time for Some Life Saving Training

As most members will be aware the committee have bought a Defibrillator to be housed at Ravensprings Park. It will be available for members use either on our normal days and also on Open Days.   It should be on site by this Sunday.

Defibs are extremely easy to use and the one we have bought talks you through everything you need to do, this one even tells you if you are doing chest compressions correctly. However you will find it useful if you have an idea of what happens by doing some online training. Although it asks for an email address you don’t have to put a real one in if you don’t want to but they also promise not to send you spam.

Martyn Redfearn will be doing a very basic first aid course before the first open day and part of the pre learning is doing this online.

Online training

Please give this a try.

Club Invite Wakefield

We have been invited to visit Wakefield at Thornes Park on the 3 August. Last year Fred, Andy and Howard visited. They are busy adding a raised 3.5 and 5" track but I am not sure if it is finished.
